Home Health Selection Solutions operates as part of Human Resource Consultants, Ltd. (HRC). Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, HRC has provided assessment solutions to employers since 1992 and specialized in assessments for healthcare since 1998.
Healthcare specific assessments have been designed and validated by HRC and have been administered many millions of times. These were developed for Acute Care and Long Term Care organizations.
Throughout the years, numerous Clients have requested an assessment be designed and validated for the unique requirements of Home Health and Hospice workers. As a result, we’re in the process of validating an assessment designed for the Selection of Home Health and Hospice Nurses.
Two principals have been influential in the development and validation of this new assessment:
Mr. Korc is Vice President and cofounder of Home Health Selection Solutions. He received his BS in Marketing from Grand Valley State University in 1981. Rich has been providing assessment solutions to employers since 1992.
In 1998, Rich began to focus on behavioral assessments for Healthcare. In 2002, he led the development and validation of a behavioral based pre-employment assessment for the Acute Care Industry. Today, that assessment is the most widely used pre-employment assessment in healthcare. Over 10 million applicants have completed the assessment and over 1,000 organizations throughout 50 states have implemented the assessment into their selection process.
Mr. Wiersma serves as President and cofounder of Home Health Selection Solutions. He received his BS in Business Administration from Central Michigan University in 1983
For the past 17 years, Mark has partnered with healthcare employers to identify the behavioral competencies that predict success for specific Healthcare Job Families. This empirical data, coupled with best-practice selection methodologies, have provided healthcare employers with an objective, practical tool to assist them in their selection process.
Today, Home Health Selection Solutions is designing and validating a behavioral-based pre-employment assessment that will address the unique needs Home Health and Hospice employers desire.
